As a Life Style Sports Assistant Buyer you will be responsible for supporting the Buyers and team in driving and increasing sales and margin in your category. You will have an eye for product and bring new well thought out ideas to the buying process. Technical Criteria:Third level qualification in Buying discipline. 3 years experience in fashion or sports retail buying.Highly organised with robust planning ability.Confident in negotiation skills. Role Responsibilities: 1. Analyse store sales and take appropriate action where required and maintain forward order book wish list in conjunction with the Merchandiser. 2. Work with the buyer to develop option plans for stores and set up accordingly on the system. 3. Create and set up products in accordance with the company buying policy. 4. Monitor stock levels against sales projections working with the buyer and merchandiser to resolve any issues with stores and suppliers. 5. Produce weekly reports to support buying process and engage with the Marketing and Operations team to drive ans support sales in your concept. 6.
