Nurse Advisor – Nutrition – Belfast

This Company is looking for a Nurse Advisor for a 6 month contract in Northern Ireland.

As a key member of this Company’s Patient Care service team, this Nurse Advisor/ Educator will provide support and training to patients and their carers.

The successful candidate will effectively communicate with dietitians and nurses, and will be pivotal in educating patients on all aspects relating to the Company’s eneteral feeding systems.

Position Requirements:

Nursing Qualification
Current registration with the Royal College of Nursing
Must have Nursing experience within enteral feeding
Must have previous Sales experience in Pharma or Nutrition
Paediatric experience is preferred but not essential
Must have a passion for Nutrition
Must have strong presentation and IT skills
Must be a strong communicaton and have the ability to work on own initiative and also as part of a team
Must be living in or near Belfast
Must have the flexibility to cover all 6 counties as a Nurse Advisor for this Company

The Job:

This is a 6 month full time Nurse Advisor/ Educator contract in Northern Ireland
Training of hospital staff on pumps
Training of home patients
Training in Nursing Homes where Company pumps are being used
Provide training to other members of the clinical team on equipment and nursing issues
Maintain written records and retun these to the Clinical Nurse Advisor/ Patient Care Coordinator
Work closely with the patient care coordinator, tube feed product manager and clinical nurse advisor
Responsible for managing relationships with patients, carers, dietitians and nurses

For this job, it is essential that the successful candidate is kind, caring and most of all patient focussed.

This is a 6 month full time Nurse Advisor/ Educator role for Northern Ireland
