Medical Scientific Liaison - Dublin 


Role Function

Serve as a resource and scientific expert on disease state concepts and Company products

Establish relationships with opinion leaders to expand needed research, advisory and other collaborative opportunities



Minimum Qualifications

o Advanced biomedical sciences degree (DO, MD, PharmD, PhD) required
o Minimum of 5 years of Medical Affairs experience, with field experience, within biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry:
o Experienced MSL with thorough understanding of the biopharmaceutical Industry
o Medical Product Manager experience



Essential experience -

o Cystic Fibrosis experience preferred but  pulmonary diseases and paediatricsexperience is also beneficial.

Experience of orphan disease setting (oncology, rare metabolic disorders) will also be a distinct advantage. 


o Understands government and industry guidelines, regulations, laws, etc.for appropriate interactions with healthcare providers


o Ability to complete goals within allotted timeframes, and deliver high quality results


o Ability to initiate, plan and complete projects


o Strong initiative and ability to identify issues and create solutions


o Ability to work within a multi-cultural team on common projects and goals


o Ability to work in line within a multi-disciplinary environment, on national & regional levels


o Ability to comprehend current literature and understand health economics


o Ability to effectively present clinical/scientific information in a group or individual setting


o Knowledge and understanding of appropriate marketplace desired


o Understanding of national healthcare regulatory environment


o Ability to comply to different sets of compliance rules, both National and Company wide


o Ability to use Microsoft Office programs and to work in a matrix environment


o Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record


o Ability to travel up to 70%


o English language fluent, written and spoken
