Homecare Nurse Manager - Dublin


Requirements


• Qualified Registered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years experience
• Registered with An Bord Altranais
• Experience of nursing policies, care planning and Person centred planning
• Demonstrate good organisation skills, ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
• Full clean drivers licence and own transport
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office

Must be living in Dublin and a car owner





Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Lead the team in the planning, coordination and rostering of the carers and nurses
providing services to our clients

• Meeting new clients, carry out client assessments and prepare care plans taking into
consideration the lifestyle, gender and background of the resident

• Identify, develop and implement quality and risk management initiatives

• To initiate new ideas and methods and encourage staff to do same

• Continuously evaluate care needs with other members of the nursing team and ensure
that care plans and records are up-to-date and accurate. Continually seek to improve the
care delivered to clients

• Participate in continuous process improvements and make recommendations for change
with regards to clinical and non-clinical policy

• Participate in orientation and education programmes contributing towards the
development of nursing and non-nursing staff and to coordinate arrangements for same

• To assist in investigating accidents, injuries, mishaps and complaints and to report and
record in accordance with the agreed company policy
