Lead Java Developer / Architect - Banking
New team being created in Dublin city centre to work with Java, API's, Hibernate, Spring, Oracle, XML, Eclipse IDE; building a new core banking application. Working through the full SDLC in a leadership role going from requirement gathering through design and development then passing on to test, this is a chance to work on a challenging and rewarding environment in an architecture and development capacity. As this team is currently being built you will have the chance to influence the approach being taken.
Role / opportunity:
• Lead Development / Architect role
• Building enterprise banking systems
• Technical environment; Java, API's, Hibernate 3.3.2, Spring 2.5.3, Oracle 10G, XML, Eclipse IDE
• Design / Architecture and contributing as a senior developer
• Technical leadership of developers
• Permanent position based in Dublin city centre
Skills / experience:
• 7+ years Java development experience
• 2+ years Architecture / Design experience
• Experience with Spring, Hibernate, Oracle Eclipse IDE, Unix Shell Scripting
• Excellent communication skills
