Client Facing Application Support Engineer
Blue chip software house that implements their enterprise application products to financial services companies has a need for a software support consultant to aid clients through the pre-implementation preparation and post implementation support. Resolving product issues, referring enhancements and major technical issues on to development teams, working closely with the implementation team to ensure successful and smooth deployment.
This is a client facing role and requires someone that enjoys working with external clients.
Role / opportunity:
• Application Support / Software Support
• Client facing role working with banks
• Technical consulting
• Pre-implementation preparation
• Post-implementation support
• Supporting the implementation process
• Working with SQL, Oracle, Application Servers (JBoss, Weblogic, Websphere)
Skills / experience:
• 4+ years relevant commercial experience
• Strong SQL Skills (able to write SQL script)
• Oracle and Application Server ((JBoss, Weblogic, Websphere) experience
• Strong client facing skills
