New Software Support Consultant - Contract
New position arising with a market leading software company who build award winning enterprise applications targeting the financial services sector. This is a role supporting customers through pre and post implementation stages. Working with the customer on site to prepare them for implementation and resolve product issues referring to the development teams, implementation teams build teams et al.
This is an role which offers the opportunity to travel to London and Mainland Europe and is best suited to someone that genuinely enjoys working in a face to face role with clients and dealing with a range of challenges on a daily basis.
Role / opportunity:
• Software Support / Application support
• Working with customers on-site
• Supporting customers through a software deployment process
• Technology set is SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle, Application Servers (JBoss /Weblogic / Websphere), Java, Unix
• Travel to UK and Europe
• Working with banking clients
Skills / experience:
• 4+ years commercial experience
• Solid SQL skills (ideally PL/SQL)
• Oracle administration exposure
• Application Server (JBoss, Weblogic, Websphere)
• Java would be a bonus but not a prerequisite
