Electronics Accessory Buyer (30-45k)

My client a global communications company is looking to recruit an experienced Electronics or Telcoms buyer to join the purchasing department. This is an excellent opportunity for person with a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role to further their career within a global company. Requirements:

• 3 years experience in a similar buying role.


• Proven experience at dealing directly with manufacturers.


• Experience buying/sourcing technology based products.


• Demonstrate an understanding of international procurement.


• Demonstrate a track record of personal success.


• Excellent presentation skills.


• Ability to build relationships at director level.


• Proven negotiation skills.


• PC literate.

Desired:

• Knowledge of Mobile Phone Accessories sourcing.


• Purchasing qualification.


• Experience of building product roadmaps.


• Knowledge of contract law highly desirable.


• Experience in mobile telecoms sector.
