This is a professional and leading mortgage lender with a newly created position with their mortgage collections team.

You will:

• Contacting arrears customers directly to make arrangements to recover the mortgage arrears.


• Understanding customers' previous history and current circumstances and evaluating payment proposals.


• Reviewing all options with customers as outlined in the Financial Regulator's Code of Conduct for Mortgage Arrears and bringing these cases for discussion to Senior Management along with own recommendations.


• Dealing efficiently with incoming calls and correspondence.


• Possess a highly developed understanding of the mortgage litigation process in order to deal effectively with legal queries that may arise on cases.


• Maintaining excellent relationships with third parties, including external solicitors, and customers' debt mediators.


• Maintaining and monitoring ongoing contact and follow-up of cases with Manager.


• Actively participate in and contribute to monthly team review meetings.

Experience:

• Candidates must be highly experienced mortgage collectors with a minimum of 2 year's mortgage collections experience


• Candidates will be expected to demonstrate a highly developed understanding of the mortgage  process.

Salary / Remuneration: 35 - 40K, 10% bonus, 25 days leave, health insurance
