The company specializes in maintenance, repair and conversion of complex, high-quality ships and other maritime objects.
The foreman is responsible for the performance of the allocated part of the technical work on a project.
The foreman supervises and leads a (large) group of employees who perform complex work. This work is done based on drawings and instructions.
The foreman checks if the necessary materials and tools are present and where necessary takes corrective measures. He instructs the production staff, taking the capabilities of the employees into account.
The foreman ensures the proper processing of administrative information on the project for the accounting department. He is responsible for the administrative justification of time of allocated employees.
All candidates must have the following:Solid education in Mechanics or Shipbuilding and several years of experience (shiprepair or -building).
In possession of a VCA certificate.
Used to working in teams, with a service providing and flexible attitude.
Knowledge of the English and German language is preferred because of communication with the ship's crew.
