Site Based Fitter - Australia

Are you looking to relocate to Australia ?
Experienced Fitters are required for a leading Mining company based in Perth , Australia.Excellent package available for suitable candidates.
Role:
1. Following direction from supervisors and obeying instructions.
2. Inspections and Assessments with regard to the condition of site equipment and report/repair any issues.
3. Constructive communication with the Operations team to facilitate timely access of machines.
4. Good communications with both supervisors and fellow workers.
5. Attend equipment breakdowns and advise supervisor and/or repair in a timely manner.
6. Ensure all aspects of the safety system are adhered to and actively promoted those systems to fellow personnel.
7. Ensure housekeeping is completed on a per shift basis as a minimum.
8. Complete and assist other personnel with risk assessments and JSEA's
9. Return all tooling used, at the completion of each shift.
10. Complete required paperwork accurately and in full
11. Inform supervisors of stock levels when low to prevent excessive machine downtime.
Requirements:
· Hold qualifications in an appropriate mechanical discipline
· Proactive and positive approach to safety and the systems used
· Demonstrated exposure to delivering accurate diagnosis to improving both reliability and availability to fleet and maintenance activities
· Not less than 5 years trades experience in the mining industry
· Good communication / people skills to assist and/or support other workshop personnel
· Knowledge of legislative requirements of Hard Rock or Coal Mining Machine and maintenance codes & standards
·First Aid Certificate.
