Position Description -Quality Control (Internet Search)

Our client  is recruiting a Quality Control person who is fluent in French and English to join our Internet Seacrh Quality Control team.



Their  Internet Seacrh Quality teams' function is to improve the quality of internet search users' experience by monitoring and reviewing the work of our global internet assessor team, where they rate and review internet content in over 100 countries. This role is based onsite in Ballina, Co. Mayo.




Role Requirements and Responsibilities :



We are seeking a person who is internet savvy, who is familiar with and uses the internet on regular basis. Ideally, you will be aware of emerging internet trends such as social media developments, search engine developments, research tools such as Wikipedia and multimedia tools used to display content.



The ideal candidate will have strong research skills, with the ability to read and understand complex guidelines, and to apply those guidelines to user behaviour.



The role wil involve reviewing, understanding and rating various online internet properties, where your knoweldge of how internet users ?search and surf? the web will be critical.



Experience working in a similar quality control background, where agreed standards are monitored, is important for the role.



It is critical that you fluent in French, with a strong cultural knowledge of France, having lived there for an extended period of time being ideal.



Experience and ability to work in a process orientated role, where you will be required to manage multiple tasks to strict deadlines is important.



Must have excellent problem solving skills and be capable of breaking down complex situations to discover and resolve root causes, this applies to both technical issues and process issues.



Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and French are important as the role requires high levels of interaction.
