full time Spanish QA: 3+ years gaming exp

My Client is an excellent gaming company based in Dublin 2. They have won multiple awards for their games and have also had a game inducted into the Hall of Fame.

They are a dynamic, fun and exciting company to work for with excellent salaries. 

They are currently looking for an experienced Spanish QA with over 4 years experience to join the team for an initial contract of 6 months. 


Responsibilities:


· Perform International Sufficiency Testing on pre-Localisation builds to test for localizability and globalisation
· Create test documentation for assigned projects
· Assist the Localisation PM on scheduling the testing effort on assigned projects
· Execute the test plan for assigned projects using internal and/or external test resources
· Execute the test cases and log & track bugs on assigned languages
· Assist project team by answering context questions on the game that arise during the project
· Take action on assigned bugs in a timely manner
· Where possible and appropriate, implement Spanish translation fixes/updates in game files
· Provide ad hoc and in depth Spanish translations


Required Skills/Personal Requirements:


· Fluency in the following languages: Spanish, English.
· Minimum 3 years experience in a games testing environment
· Knowledge of software internationalisation and experience of localised operating systems
· Has performed a prominent testing role on a team that released at least 2 game titles in multiple languages
· Strong skills in the use of bug tracking systems and methods
· Strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite applications
· Experience on two or more of the following platforms: PC; Flash; Mac; Xbox360; Nintendo DS/DSi, Wii
· Technical knowledge and experience in setting up hardware for testing purposes; ghosting; video game console setup; using software tools;


Salary is DOE: €24-€40k
