Area Manager required for top Fashion Retailer! My client has a group of retail stores around the world and it is a parent company of brands which are well established in Ireland.

They currently have a vacancy for a highly motivated and target driven Area Manager/Merchandiser who has considerable fashion retail experience, preferably at Area Manager level.

This role will operate from the head office in Kildare but the successful candidate will be based in stores around Ireland.

Suitable candidates will

· Have at least 3-5 yrs experience working as an Area Manager in the Fashion industry.

· Be results driven with a strong understanding of the relationship between sales and profits

· Be familiar with financial reports and profit & loss accountability

· A proven ability to multi-task with a high level of organizational skills

Duties will include:

· Taking full responsibility for merchandising in all of the stores within your remit

· To work closely with your country manager, operations team, buying team, administration team and merchandising team within Ireland and abroad so that your stores achieve the financial, operational, managerial and conceptual targets required.

· To ensure the stores understand their targets and financial figures and to ensure they have the tools to achieve them.

· To oversee all aspects of the stores in your care in relation to buying, stock control, financial budgets, merchandising, manning budgets, training schedules, general appearance of the stores, etc.

· Prepare budgets and strive to increase profitability within your stores.

· To ensure all necessary laws are implemented and adhered to paying particular attention to employment law and health and safety guidelines.

· To motivate your teams to be always sales minded and have a strong focus on 'Customer service' making sure that they meet the required standards at all times.

· To constantly motivate the staff to contribute to the achievement of targets and profit.
