  Chief Scientific Officer-Limerick

Our Client is involved in a start operation and require a Chief Scientific Officer (Chief Pharmacist) who will be involved at all primary stages of  development,traila and production/ manufacturing of a first of kind drug for a global market 

Duties

• Successful candidate thoroughly understands the criteria surrounding StoppStart
• Works closely with all health providers in establishing StoppStart specification.
 • Assist in guiding R&D personnel
• Interface with institutions on all R&D projects
• Coordinate trials in all health care providers premises.
• Manages the R&D pipeline

Essential
• The post holder should have 1-2 years' experience in monitoring adverse drug reaction reports.
Posess a thorough understanding of computerised databases and keyboard skills is essential,
Ideal candidate must have a good understanding of clinical practice. This latter aspect must be gained either in a hospital or pharmaceutical industry environment. Good inter-personal skills are essential.

• Must be educated to degree level in life / information sciences
• A postgraduate qualification in a field related to pharmacovigilance would be preferable; if not obtained, a further 2 years experience in a hospital or pharmaceutical industry would be desirable
• Candidate will idealy be based in Limerick

• Preferred Candidate must be a pharmacist with practical Healthcare/ Pharma Science  industry experience

• Candidate must have highly developed written and verbal communication skills
