Key Accountabilities:
   1.Prepare Conceptual Design studies for potential new projects under the direction of GM- D&P.
   2.Prepare: Design Briefs, programs, consultants scope of work, etc.. for new Peninsula projects, under the direction of GM- D&P.
   3. Take leadership role in managing day-to-day coordination of design disciplines (architectural, MEP, interior design) on new Peninsula projects, for both the outside consultants as well as the related in-house managers, particularly ID & MEP.
   4.Ensure architectural design documents represent the clients requirements and standards (including planning, technical and aesthetic aspects) and that they meet or exceed all local regulatory standards and requirements.
   5. Ensure that architectural approvals are completed on time and within cost by identifying timely and cost-effective solutions to technical issues arising in the course of projects, to support Project Director.
   6.Work with all members of Design & Planning team at Head Office, and relevant project support team, to coordinate necessary design program information and requirements are transmitted to and from project teams in timely fashion.

   2.Design Team's local representatives
   3.Purchasing Agent

Key Performance Indicators:
Successful completion of the project, with architectural design quality and standards achieved within budget and timetable.

Competencies:
   1.Full competency of hotel space planning and related architectural design
   2.Understanding of practical construction methods to execute quality designs cost-effectively
   3.Communication skills - Spoken and written English mandatory, French desirable
   4.Understanding of latest design trends (style and technology) and their place in the development of long-term design solutions
   5.Graphics (sketches) and presentation clarity
   6.Strong leadership in team discussions
   7.Maintaining design principles in face of construction issues of deadlines and costs
   8.Strong foundation in technical matters and familiarity with AUTOCAD
