QEHS Manager

Roles/Responsibilities

• Develop and manage an appropriate Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety system in the company.
  
• Ensure the company's compliance with all other regulatory requirements, including but not limited to Consumer safety, Product labelling and Weight and Measures.
  
• Manage and develop the staff assigned.
  
• Deputise Head of Manufacturing, Head of Research and Development or any operational manager from time to time.
  
• Assist in the achievement of the company's goals as laid out in the strategic plan.
  
• Prepare and adhere to agreed budgets for area's of responsibility.
  
• Work closely with R&D on the introduction of new products to production scale and on any issues arising with existing products, packaging and processes.
  
• Manage plant projects as appropriate from time to time
  
• Research and propose capital projects relevant to area's of responsibility as appropriate from time to time.

Skills/Experience

• Degree in Chemistry required - essential.
  
• Min 5+ years experience in a simliar QEHS Manager role.
  
• H&S Diploma required - essential.
  
• Strong management experience.
