full time Project Transition Director

My client is a leading global outsourcing firm and is currently seeking a Transition Project Director to manage a new business win. This role will be based in South Dublin however will involve extensive global travel.

The role:
Ø Develop and execute the Global transition project plan for 4 lines of global business within the BPO sector working under the guidance of the Global Operations Director and 4 Global Business Managers
Ø Develop and execute an effective communications management plan, facilitating a cross functional team (both internal and external) to ensure an efficient, detailed, and successful client transition occurs
Ø Client relationship - Global program responsibility for all PM's - acts as program SME
Ø Continuous Improvement - Analyses and recommends program specific improvements
Ø Quality and Compliance/CPE - Analyse program rules and delivery. Ensures correct controls are in place for execution
Ø KPI and SLA delivery - responsible for program specific rules and policies
Ø Change management - Due diligence, risk and impact analysis and recommendation
Ø Resource coordination & scheduling- global process design, development of process improvement initiatives and the implementation of enabling technologies associated with the Global Transition
Ø Compliance to established timelines and budget control
Ø Provide identified deliverables as defined in the SOW and solution design
Ø Delivery readiness to steady state operations

The Candidate:
Ø Bachelors degree in computer science, business, IT or other related field or equivalent training
Ø Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent.
Ø Minimum of 10 years of industry experience in relevant fields of business
Ø Proven experience of project management in BPO environment (essential)
Ø 5yrs or more years of management or matrix management experience
Ø Proven ability to manage global, complex IT projects effectively under timeline pressure and within budget
Ø Proven ability to communicate across all level of an organization effectively
Ø Proven ability to lead a diverse team from all areas of an organization
Ø Excellent communications skills verbal and written
Ø Advanced skills with Microsoft Project, Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, basic Visio skills
Ø Must build and maintain working relationships with individuals in other departments or companies at all levels, internally an externally.
Must be available for up to 50% travel
