Scope of Work
Candidate will support the Site Ergonomics Programme by addressing the following:
Participation in ergonomic audits and cross site ergonomic teams as required
Act as content expert for all ergonomic injuries requiring an investigation as part of the injury investigation process.
Involves meeting with the employee, manager and other key stakeholders, drafting reports, making recommendations and liaising with Occupational Health Dept.
There may be some requirement to support non regular works hours (0700-1900h).
Drafting of leading and lagging indicators for customers and using these to drive continuous improvements in the site programme
Familiarity with relevant H&S legislation and best practice as it applies to ergonomics - understand key differences between US and Europe.
Ability to perform risk assessments for DSE (display screen equipment) , Vibration and Manual Handling
Receive training on specific client semiconductor chip manufacturing tools and thereafter be the designated super user for these ergo related
Be familiar with standard client semiconductor chip industry tools
Be familiar with how to CE mark a semiconductor chip tool and the ergo requirements for CE marking
Be responsible for Client ergo related classes (training will be provided in house initially)
Support Design reviews and Equipment Sign off
Perform tool sign offs as part of semiconductor chip Equipment Sign Off
Development and leading of training classes, incident investigation, and increasing management/employee awareness of the ergonomic program
Knowledge of EU/Ireland legislation pertaining to ergonomics
Strong foundation in Anatomy and Physiology, manual handling and office ergonomics is essential.
Ability to work as a team member, strong problem solving skills, good written/verbal communications and good PC Skills are essential
