Compliance Manager ( Mat leave)

This role will provide leadership in the areas of plant compliance, strategic compliance initiatives, continuous improvement, cGMP and Food Safety
Responsible for ensuring best practice throughout the plant and developing programmes to continually improve plant practices.
Roles/Responsibilities
Lead the Food Safety Management Team with responsibility for the HACCP Programme.
Lead strategic quality initiatives in the area of Line Clearance and other specific areas.
Key role in implementation and management of Pest Control Programme.
Develop, identify, analyze, manage and communicate compliance matrices.
Ensuring Compliance to all Regulations/Legislation
Develop and deliver training with regard to compliance based on business needs.
Play a key role in the Plant Validation Review Board to ensure all new equipment/processes and any new infrastructure meets cGMP standards and regulatory compliance.
Manager the plants Master Sanitation Programme.
Ensure compliance to all AQR and Division Policies in the area of responsibility.
Benchmark activities to ensure cGMP are consistent with Infant Formulae Nutritional Industry.
Play a key role in ensuring the plant is audit ready
Skills/Experience
Very good understanding of the manufacturing process and food safety requirements.
Strong knowledge and experience in auditing, analytical techniques and methods used.
Excellent interpersonal skills and management skills.

Communicate with all levels of the organization
Communicate effectively with cross-function team

Education / Professional Qualifications
Degree, Masters in Food Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent with a mimimum of 3 years in a Compliance environment.
