My client based in Kerry is currently seeking a Applications Sales Engineer. You will be responsible for the aftermarket technical queries with existing clients. Handling quotations, negotiating prices, reporting on sales analysis, people management, full administration duties.

The ideal candidate will possess;

· Minimum of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

· Experience in a similar applications / engineering environment is advantageous.

· Strong commercial awareness.

· Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.

· Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines with the capacity to quickly adapt to unforeseen customer demands.

· Proven leadership experience.


PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIE

· Handling aftermarket technical enquiries.

· Coordinating the aftermarket business and issuing quotations.

· Quotation database maintenance.

· Calculating costing for new capital equipment.

· Review terms and conditions on new capital equipment.

· Monthly forecasting projections.

· Supervision of the Customer Services team
