Tax Accountant - Industry (Fixed Term Contract) with Leading Multinational

Roles/Responsibilities

Designing the requirements in order to migrate indirect tax from all other entities to the centre

Engaging with new colleagues with regard to process & procedures currently completed

Mapping requirements and scenarios to the current system in Oracle, eg, VAT codes creation

Completing accurate testing and document results of testing to ensure reports & designed requirements are available pre-migration

Information Processing i.e collecting data and progressing it in a timely, accurate and complete manner to support the Indirect Tax process

Skills/Experience

The Indirect Tax Integration Project Lead must have solid taxation & financial background with experience in ERP integration projects.

Education / Professional Qualifications

Tax qualification (AITI or equivalent) or qualified accountant with Indirect Tax Bias

Working knowledge of VAT in a multinational commercial environment

Experience in negotiating with Tax authorities

Related experience of ERP system integration

Personal Attributes

Ability to work independently, to work under pressure and to handle several projects at once

Strong interpersonal, analytical thinking, and organizational skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

Second European Language is desirable bit not essential
