Supplier Quality Engineer - Location: Cork

My client a leading multinational company with office based in Cork is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to be responsible for and effectively co-ordinate supplier Quality issues, the ideal candidate will posses the following;

Required

• Minimum of Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering/Technology


• 3+ years experience in manufacturing environment or equivalent


• Direct experience in a QA environment


• Experience working in GPM regulated environment


• Medical Device Industry experience is a clear advantage

Role & Responsibilities

• Co-Ordinate effective and timely follow-up on all supplier quality issues


• Liaise with product support reams, R&D and regulatory on component quality issues and supplier initiatives.


• Pro-actively identify, prioritise and project manage high risk component quality issues and supplied initiatives


• Liaise directly with vendors; this involves travel to client sites.


• Manage supplier audit programme and overall supplier approval/rating programme.
