Based in Cork, Ireland, this is an exceptional opportunity for an experience industry professional to manage an International brand portfolio spanning Continental Europe, Middle East, Asia-Pacific and UK. This is a newly created position with incredible scope.
Job Description
- The successful appointee will have a huge opportunity to develop the future footprint of the various Brands, New Product Development, Advertising Strategies, On-line presence and enhance and develop the appropriate structure and ensure the company is seen to be leaders in this area.
- Formulate a new Brand Strategy for the company.
- Manage Marketing Spend and Direction. Enhance and Refresh on-line / e-marketing.
- This a hands-on strategic marketing position that requires the operational expertise to covert strategy to action.
Roles/Responsibilities
- Insights, competitor, consumer and product analysis
- Deliver and execute Brand Plans (consumer, promotion, commercial, pricing, product)
- Own and drive business reporting
- Lead Category Management input to NPD process ensuring excellent launch and post launch evaluation for all major new product launches concept << LI>
- Manage relationship with agencies< LI>
- Develop strong working relationships with International Brand Marketing teams ensuring key category strategy for focus brands across the globe< LI>
- Support International Sales Account Managers in communicating motivating category arguments to their accounts
- Collaborate with International Teams to identify licensing opportunities< LI>
Skills/Experience
- The person will have minimum of 4 - 5 years brand management responsibility, which may be complemented by other category/business development/ Marketing roles within the FMCG Industry.
- Previous experience marketing across countries and regions, previous experience marketing in the UK, U.S.A, Europe or Asia is welcome.
- Must have strong experience in e-marketing and understanding online marketing strategies.
- Outstanding planning and implementation skills - must be able to manage projects with a degree of autonomy to agreed milestones.
- The person requires the ability to anticipate and envision industry trends and requirements and advise the business on how to exploit them.
- Evidence of creative thinking and strategic thinking skills - with potential to develop these further.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills together with a persuasive and passionate style are essential.
Education / Professional Qualifications
- Third Level Qualification in Marketing / Business
