Job Description


As VENDOR MANAGER, you will assume responsibility for managing all aspects of the outsourcing relationship. This is a senior and a very key appointment and a candidate of exceptional calibre is required.



Roles/Responsibilities




  • Review daily performance metrics to ensure they're within agreed specifications
  • Work with the internal centers to ensure that appropriate activities are also conducted at the vendor locations
  • Facilitate the QBRs.
  • Analyse business operations data including service & sales metrics and customer satisfaction surveys to identify actionable trends.
  • Develop RFPs used to evaluate new vendors.
  • Develop new vendor site audit methodology.
  • Participate in bidder?s conference and contract negotiations.
  • Manage new vendor/new program implementation project plan.
  • Negotiate with internal and external resources for milestones and expected outcomes.
  • Review vendor forecasts and ensure timely delivery of forecasts to the vendors.Review and approve vendor invoices and work with vendor to resolve any invoice discrepancies.



Skills/Experience




  • You must be a strong team player, a great communicator, and a business savvy individual who has an excellent understanding of the needs and challenges facing todays outsourcing partners
  • Candidates must be self directed and motivated with strong analytical, management and coordination skills to handle a variety of activities and complexities spanning across the organization.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced B2C e-commerce environment. Past experience managing outsourcing partners is a requirement, not an option.





Education / Professional Qualifications




  • Degree in Business Studies
  • SIx Sigma certification
  • Post grad (MBS, MSc, or MBA) preferred although not essential.



Personal Attributes



The ideal candidate will be a self starter, highly motivated, and psoess excellent energy levels. The role requires extensive international travel (about 40 to 50%) and will suit someone who is enthused at the prospect of an international-type role.
