Job Description
They are currently recruiting for a Cost Accountant to join their finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager this is a contract position with a duration of 12 months.
Roles/Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of this Cost Accountant position will include:
- Tracking the procurement of new equipment for high volume manufacturing lines.
- Monitor expenditure
- Budgetary forecasting and controls
- Preparation of monthly captial and expenses
- Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register
- Providing project support to the manufacturing operations.
Skills/Experience
To be considered for this Cost Accounting position, you must possess the following:
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA)
- Minimum of 3 years post-qualified experience - manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience in all of the above duties
- Excellent communication skills
- Abilitiy to work in a high pressurised, multi-tasking environment
