Min qualification is BTec HNC..
Engineer Surveyor (Machinery) Location is Armagh, Fermanagh area
contributory pension. All tools and equipment are provided., We provide an industry leading training programme (of up to 6 months) before the new surveyor takes control of his district.
Hours per week are currently 37.5.
The company operate a 6-month probationary period following completion of training..
Qualifications:.
Served a recognised apprenticeship.
Hold a 3rd level engineering qualification at Higher National Certificate level or above (other acceptable qualifications are National Diploma in Engineering, First Class Certificate of Competency (Marine), NVQ4, Full Technological Certificate) Full clean driver's licence
Our surveyors typically come from an industrial engineering background.
They will be time-served and will have added a HNC level qualification at some stage in their careers. They will come to us with at least 5 years of relevant engineering or surveying experience. As home-workers, self-motivation and the ability to self-manage are critical. They will have stretching performance targets and there is a fair amount of scrutiny in the role to ensure we maintain the appropriate technical and performance standards.

Responsibilities:
The surveyors carry out thorough examinations of plant and machinery and report their findings using their electronic reporting system. They are responsible for planning and prioritising their workload in the most efficient manner possible. Plant involved is all manner of lifting equipment but this particular role will have a stronger focus on passenger lifts. District involved will tend to be Dublin city centre and Northside but there is some flexibility in this.
