Senior Statutory Accountant

Our client is a well established Cork based Multinational.

Job Description:

A vacancy has arisen for a Senior Statutory Accountant whose main requirements will include:

• Extensive knowledge in statutory accounts preparation for EMEA jurisdictions
  
• Extensive knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP's
  
• Ability to complete bridges between US GAAP and local GAAP
  
• Assume main responsibility for dealing with local audit firms

Roles / Responsibilities:

Key Relationships will include:

• Tax, legal and treasury departments
  
• Liaise with General Accounting, AR, AP
  
• Partner with Corporate Investment legal entities
  
• Team up with corporate departments in US regarding restructuring activities

Skills / Experience:

• Significant experience in US GAAP is a pre requisite
  
• Qualified accountant with at least 3 years PQE
  
• Big 4 audit experience would be an advantage
  
• Must display strong communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Would suit a Big 4 audit manager with US multinational clients
