A leading US Insurer with a strong, established presence in the Irish market, seeks to hire a number of qualified solicitors or Personal Injury Claims Negotiators for a newly created team.
Job Description
Reporting to the Liability Claims Manager, you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of Personal (Bodily) Injury Claims files and be expected to accurately determine liability and quantum.
Roles/Responsibilities
Working within this bespoke Personal Injury Claims team, you will be expected to manage your own allocated portfolio of new and legacy claims files and handle those claims from initial notification through to final settlement. Previous exposure to similar claims along with a knowledge of how to deal with the courts system are absolute necessities for this role as there will be regular contact with members of the gardai and the judiciary.
Skills/Experience
Ideally you will have a minimum of three years Personal Injury claims handling experience coupled with full CIP qualification or be a nearly qual/post qual solicitor with a number of years experience of dealing with same.
Education / Professional Qualifications
Candidates need to be Qualified Solicitors or Barristers with 3 yrs PQE ideally with experience of Personal Injury.
Personal Attributes
You must be sufficiently confident in your abilities to manage and negotiate a large portfolio of Personal Injury claims and possess the communication skills to liaise regularly with a wide variety of relevant parties. You should also be well organised, detail-conscious and capable of managing time and workload effectively
