Main Responsibilities:

To plan, co-ordinate, manage and report upon the work activities of the shipping department, by providing effective network modeling, planning, communication, leadership, motivation, and ensuring the delivery of a high quality and cost efficient service to our customers.

Position in the Organisation:

Main responsibility: planning routes working with agents, pallets/space optimisation, organising both drivers & 3^rd Parties

General Responsibilities:.

· Report all KPI's on a weekly/monthly basis to the senior management team.
· Maintain to required legal standards all company assets under your control
· Maintain the ?Supply Chain? at all times
· Undertake project work alongside regular duties when required
· Undertake any other reasonable duty as required by senior management
· Be aware of the company rules, procedures and agreements and any notices displayed by the company on the notice board.· To be aware that the company operates to HACCP and BRC Standards and appreciate your responsibility to adhere to respective procedures.

Professional qualification plus minimum of 8 years in a Shipping / Distribution Management position, exp in Food an advantage, exp in chilled food an advantage.
