Operations Accountant

Operations accountant required for 18 month contract with leading pharma company in the Cork area. Would suit recently qualified accountant with 12 months industry experience preferably.
? Co-ordinate and manage the annual budget process for site spend.
? Control and analyze actual site spend versus budget on a periodic basis.
? Support the month end and year end close process.
? Lead and perform the Enabling functions forecast process for the site.
? Provide key financial support to the different functional departments.
? Prepare and submit restructuring funding requests and control utilizations of reserves.
? Work with designated process teams in delivering meaningful information on financial performance, in particular those production variances that the process teams influence.
? Manage and reconcile inventory accounts.
? Lead the Capital process on site to ensure timely and accurate capitalizations of projects.
? Complete depreciation budgets and forecasts and submit capital reports to NY.
? Liaise with NY on a range of site financial queries.
? Play a lead role in supporting Site projects from a financial and cost control perspective.
? Ensuring that all the internal controls of the facility are maintained and that local controls are compliant with corporate policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
Education:
A Qualified Accountant designation would be a preference. (ACA / CIMA / ACCA / CPA).
Knowledge or Experience Required:
? Relevant years post qualification experience,
? Relevant accounting experience and knowledge of internal accounting, financial and operating controls in a manufacturing capacity would be an advantage.
? Demonstrated strengths in verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills
? Proven self-starter with ability to set objectives and plans and work effectively within a team
