Ensure US GAAP accounts are completed accurately and in accordance with monthly Close Calendar
Perform detailed analytical review of BS and P&L month on month, quarter on quarter, year on year
Maintain and develop accurate monthly metrics on key RTR performance/process areas
Drive the development & enhancement of the Reconciliation tool
Proactive approach in identifying, escalating and resolving accounting issues that impact on the financials
Effective monthly tracking of reporting issues and driving resolution of same on a priority basis
Respond to customers requests /queries in a timely fashion to build customer satisfaction
Develop and maintain proactive working relationship with internal customers in Europe/US & third parties Present to senior management on an ad hoc basis as required e.g. deep dive on specific reporting areas
Fully knowledgeable on all accounting policies & SOX controls and fully compliant with same
Ensure effective administration of Assure Net that preserves segregation of duties (SOD)
Review nominated balance sheet reconciliations
Requirements
· Certified / Chartered / CIMA Qualified Accountant
· Experience in working in a service driven, customer focused environment
· Knowledge of Oracle Financials or similar accounting package preferable
· Knowledge of MS Office products, including Word and PowerPoint
