GFS Europe was established in 2002 and is the financial shared services centre for Pfizer's European business operations.
 
Responsibilities:

• Provide Oracle technical support and advice to Controllership Team and other GFS departments as required.


• Act as a technical trainer to future and existing members of Controllership teams to ensure knowledge of application, processes and procedures is to a very high standard.


• Recommend improvements and changes to processes and procedures as appropriate to Controllership Centre of excellence management and create, update and maintain SOPs as necessary in this regard.


• Work with GFS operations and project teams in maximising the usage of Oracle functionality and further automation of manual activities


• Carry out regular reviews of user access processes and procedures


• Create specifications and/or develop SQL and other reports from Oracle

Required Skills & Experience:

• Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant with strong financial systems experience


• 7+ years experience a multi national company environment.


• Knowledge of Oracle (preferably Oracle qualified) and systems experience is essential


• Strong knowledge of business processes, compliance and solutions.
