Energy Engineer

Manpower Cork are currently recruting for an Energy Engineer on behalf of our client, a Cork-based firm.
Main duties & responsibilities:
• Responsible for carrying out Energy Audits including identification of opportunities, measurement, analysis, reporting and training.
• Providing engineering support to other energy engineers.
• Liaison with client personnel on technical issues.
• Design of engineering solutions to client energy opportunities.
• Project management of feasible energy opportunities. These can be engineering projects or management systems
• Use of computer systems as required for work scheduling and reporting.
• Maintain an awareness of current trends in energy conservation techniques and technologies.
• Leading project teams of energy engineers including communication and motivation.
• Scheduling the work of the project team members where required to include monitoring or overseeing hours going into a job to ensure jobs come in on budget.
• Collaborating with engineers and any alliance partners on combined projects.
• Provide regular progress reports to the Energy Services Manager, detailing progress against stated objectives & priorities and any factors preventing current and future business growth.
• Any other task or project as assigned by the Energy Services Manager.
Requirements
A 3rd level Mechanical Engineering Degree
3-4 years experience in a similar role
An active interest in the area of Energy Engineering.
