Educational Welfare Officer

Liasing with children, educational bodies, parents and welfare staff to provide infomation and support on a confidential helpline.

Roles/Responsibilities

• To provide confidential and informative support to callers to the helpline
  
• To assist and advise parents and schools on information as guided by the Welfare Act
  
• To assess the needs of callers and to log all call accurately
  
• To assist and encourage schools with strategies and policies
