Large multi-national in D15 are recruiting for an AP clerk to support the AP Team Leader in the design, implementation, administration and operation of high value quality finance programs, practices and procedures.

Job Description

To ensure that suppliers are paid promptly and overall efficiency of the Accounts Payable function

Roles/Responsibilities

Logging, approval, processing and filing of 30 key supplier invoices
Vouching or matching supplier invoices to purchase orders, and following up/resolving differences with suppliers
Dealing with supplier queries in a timely and efficient manner
Administration of contract manufacturer discount programs
Manage escalation of queries and aged items with supplier base
Reporting of weekly key metrics to AP Supervisor
Provide Input to internal and external auditors
Open & close month end activities
Month end accruals
Monthly creditor reconciliations
Assist with payment runs
Assist with Banking & treasury issues
Ad-hoc duties as required
Adhere to all SOX procedures

Skills/Experience

Minimum 2-3 years AP experience is essential
IATI Qualified or Part Qualified
Working knowledge of Oracle or SAP
US Multi-national experience a strong advantage
Good time management and planning skills.
Proactive/Ability to use initiative
Ability to plan, prioritise and work to strict deadlines
Methodical with an eye for accuracy and detail
Good communication skills, both written and oral, with good interpersonal skills

IATI Qualified or Part Qualified
