Credit Controller (FMCG)

Job Description

• To pro actively reduce & manage the debt for their Irish market.

Roles/Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Debtors & Ledger
  
• Reducing and maintaining debt within agreed target
  
• Cash collecting by phone, letter and e-mail on commercial accounts to meet revenue targets
  
• Ensuring personal goals, objectives and targets are achieved within specified target times
  
• Drive the development of Credit Control systems within the Company
  
• Participate in credit control meetings with relevant internal parties
  
• Escalating accounts for resolution where barriers cannot be removed
  
• Ad hoc duties as required

• A minimum of two years credit control experience
  
• FMCG experience a bonus but not essential
  
• Excellent communications and negotiating skills
  
• An ability to react positively and offer acceptable solutions for difficult situations
  
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  
• Enthusiastic - Communicates with enthusiasm and clarity
  
• Ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  
• Good time management skills
  
• Fully engaged team player
  
• Excellent planning, organisation and administration skills
