Motor Claims Handler

Our client, a leading City Centre Insurer are currently recruiting for Motor Claims Handlers due to new business.
If you have min 2/3 years Motor Claims experience, dealing with Claims from notification to settlement, including material damage & personal injury and are part qualified or qualifed CIP, then read on!

If you have min 2/3 years Motor Claims experience, dealing with Claims from notification to settlement, including material damage & personal injury and are part qualified or qualifed CIP, then read on!
- Full responsibility for the entire claims process from initial report to settlement
- Management and on-going follow up on large volume of Claims files.
- Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels in the Claims process including Policy Holders, Third Party Solicitors, and Motor Assessors etc to ensure a smooth and efficient closing.
- On-going meetings with the Claims Manager to discuss case status.
- Monthly reporting on Claims Status.
- Ability to establish the validity and authenticity of Claims within high pressured turn-around times.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Min 3 years in a Claims Handling role from notification to settlement
- Be CIP Qualified or part qualified or have sufficient experience to be grandfathered by their current organisation.
- Including experience negotiating material damage and personal injury claims
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
- Strong administration and numeric skills
- Highly analytical with a strong decision making ability
- Strong communications skills and a strong customer service ethic
