Senior Technical Pre-Sales Engineer UAE and Middle East region
Working with experienced and highly successful sales directors, to manage all technical aspects of the sales cycle in an international market. This is a fabulous opportunity to join a world leader as they grow into the Middle East region.


This company is a global software company delivering best in class solutions to telecoms operators in the area of event processing and transaction management solutions that enable service providers to maximize profitability, minimize deployment and management costs and ensure regulatory and partner requirements compliance.


You should have an established reputation in the Middle East within the telecoms sector and musty have fluent Arabic language skills.


Role / opportunity:
Technical pre-sales support to sales team
Manage all technical aspects of the sales cycle.
Bid management and responses to RFI/RFP/RFQ directly to operators and through partners.
Communicate complex BSS/OSS solutions in verbal and written form.
Design a solution architecture for each client
Work with internal teams to define customized demos/POCs for prospects.
Develop relationships with key technical decision makers throughout the sales cycle.
Working with the Professional Services team, identifying what needs to be delivered
Input to product roadmap based on market/customer requirements.
Extensive travel


Skills / experience:
8+ years commercial experience in the telecommunications sector with a telecom software company or equipment manufacturer
3+ years working in a technical pre-sales role within a professional services unit
Must have strong experience in the Middle East region
Strong knowledge of networks and billing and customer care systems
Strong Business Support Systems (BSS) and Operational Support Systems (OSS) knowledge
Understanding the keys to convergence in terms of network convergence and Pre/Post-Paid convergence
Billing Mediation and Real-time Transactional Management experience
Policy Management exposure
Understanding Charging and Policy control for service delivery and rating issues.
