My client, a leading company with an international presence, is currently recruiting for a Logistics Implementation Project Manager to manage, coordinate, and direct development projects.
- An appropriate professional qualification in Project Management with proven ability to manage complex projects to tight deadlines
- Must have experience in all Logistics disciplines but specifically warehousing and freight forwarding with a particular emphasis on roadfreight.
- Experience in Logistics and Distribution is absolutely essential
- Proven people management and influencing skills.
- Proven customer management skills -with particular emphasis on a tactful, resolute and committed approach to providing excellent customer service
- Proven communication skills - an excellent level of communication skills is required
The role covers five main areas including project management, leadership, business judgement, communication and analysis.
To be successful in this position you will demonstrate strengths in all these areas coupled with high levels of motivation, organisation and understanding when it comes to solving complex issues.
This is a pan European role which will involve trave during the implementation phase and candidates will work very closely with my client's Cork office
