A leading wealth management and variable annuities firm with a long history of managing high net worth individual's money, has an opening for specialist Actuarial Trainee.
Roles/Responsibilities
Assist in managing variable annuity product risks, develop current processes & investigate/report on relevant risk management tools/techniques. Develop stochastic modelling tools & underlying programs to enhance reporting & risk management. Assist in producing financial results for unit-linked and variable annuity products: IFRS & regulatory reporting, Value of New Business, Embedded Value & analysis. Understand sources of profit Produce projections & re forecast financial results Review solvency levels & projection of future capital requirements under various scenarios Develop reporting systems & processes for market consistent embedded value & Solvency II reporting and control.
Skills/Experience
Essential Requirements: Actuarial trainee with 2-3 years relevant experience. Highly numerate with excellent written & verbal skills. IT experience in test environments, regression testing and programming. Proven programming experience; extensive knowledge of C++ & other programming languages.
Education / Professional Qualifications
Actuarial related degree and computer science qualification
