Our client, a fast growing, highly automated, world class manufacturing and development environment using state-of the art manufacturing and information systems has multiple opportunities for engineers. This large Leixlip based facility specifically requires a Process New Product Introduction Engineer. This is an 11 month contract.
Position Summary:
Support inkjet cartridge development activity through Process development & characterization. Lead and support programs through Process development enabling new product introduction. Contribute to R&D activates through product and process knowledge and technical ability. Provide technical knowledge and support in the area liquid dispensing, filling, control and associated activities, while enabling manufacturing teams to meet development & cost goals.
Candidate Profile:
Accomplished in Process definition, Characterisation and Control.
Good understanding of Experiment design, Process control techniques, and methodologies.
Understand/experience in a high volume, high technology manufacturing environment.
Good project planning and time management skills.
Understand/experience in a product development or R&D environment.
Ability to confidently raise issues and lead resolution as required.
Good understanding of quality processes, process control and ISO 9000
Minimum requirements:
Applicants should have a Bachelors Degree in Engineering/ Science.
Minimum of 5 years experience in a related industry or process.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Ability to work well with people, particularly in a teamwork environment.
Demonstrated a commitment to Manufacturing Excellence
Desirable requirements:
Experience in Engineering.
Experience of an R&D environment - in particular, new product introductions.
Process experience with Liquids / fluids and adhesives.
