**Customer Operations Manager **
An experienced Customer Operations Manager is required for a leading logistics company in the Cork area.
THE ROLE:
Responsible for the successful operational execution of the order management and European wide distribution for a specific customer through an operational team based at the Cork Branch of our client.Through high levels of customer engagement and understanding the customer needs, the role will impact the organization by managing and coordinating the key team in Cork, internal European branches and suppliers. The role will ensure that the department operates to ?Best in Class? quality standards and in an environment of continuous improvement. The key area of responsibility is to maintain and develop new and existing operations and staff to ensure a best in class service both internally and externally to our customer.
REQUIREMENTS:
An appropriate professional qualification in Logistics or Management is desirable
Excellent communication skills and ability to escalate internally in correct manner
A minimum of five years’ experience in logistics and roadfreight/ distribution operations management is required including customer management. A significant advantage would be to have European wide experience.
Proven people management skills.
Distribution , Logistics and Process expertise
Documentation experience
Initial support of documentation re process design
Linked to distribution and transportation
Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, and Outlook).
