Cork multinational is now recruiting for a HR Generalist to cover a summer parental leave. The candidate for this role must have worked for a min of 7 yrs in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities of the HR Generalist are as follows:
1. Assist in new hire integration and manager/team assimilation.
2. Provide support and guidance to customer groups to ensure consistent, equal, and fair treatment of their employees.
3. Conduct investigation of complaints and concerns that could result in legal ramifications, assess the severity, involve appropriate individuals and facilitate appropriate action based on established practice.
4. Administer and provide guidance related to compensation and benefits issues.
5. Answer inquiries from managers and employees while ensuring consistency on HR policies and procedures, and reinforce adherence as appropriate.
6. Assist in the communication of performance management tools and processes, and in the mid year Performance and Development Review process.
7. Provide guidance to customer group(s) on employee performance issues that may involve employee discipline.
8. Present, train and facilitate training programs on an as-needed basis.
9. Analyzes situations or data, conducts research when necessary and makes appropriate recommendations.
10. Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements
