Head of Money Markets

Job Description

This role will be responsible for multiple operations groups who provide fund administration services to Money Market clients with the direct reports being Group Managers. You will ensure that service is provided in line with client service level agreements and regulatory requirements, and is in accordance with agreed operating procedures.

Roles/Responsibilities

• Delivering the service in a cost efficient manner in a tightly controlled environment.
  
  
  
• Ensures exposure to operating risk is minimized.
  
  
  
• Strong technical knowledge, proficient accounting and analytical skills, demonstrated ability to think strategically
  
  
  
• High focus on controls and risk mitigation are mandatory
  
  
  
• Active communication with senior management of both clients and prospective clients
  
  
  
• Lead and manage a team of operations managers, assistant managers, supervisors and fund administration staff.
  
  
  
• Represent the group in meetings with external parties such as IFSRA, external fund auditors, client Board of Directors, fund investment advisors, fund senior management, trustees, custodians and legal counsel.
  

Skills/Experience

• Significant funds industry experience at senior management level is required for this role.
  
• Excellent working knowledge of operational risk
  
• Proven track record in delivery of organisational change

Education / Professional Qualifications

• Ideally you will possess a third level qualification
