POSITION: A multi-national organisation based in Dublin 18 are currently recruiting for a GL Accountant.
The Financial Accountant will provide General Ledger Accounting Services to the regional entities.
Under Supervision the Financial Accountant prepares management reports and balance sheet summaries.
This is a great opportunity for a P/Q accountant to join a highly successful multi-national Organisation.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the timely and accurate review and posting of month end close and accounting transactions; P&L and Balance Sheet account analysis, review, reconciliation & resolution.


• Ensure financial records are in compliance with GAAP.


• Consistently maintain appropriate internal controls and upholds company policies & procedures including worldwide controller's manual.


• Interact successfully with internal and external auditors and supports quarter end, interim ad year-end audits by providing timely accurate data and communication.


• Evaluate processes and recommend & implement process improvements.


• Contribute to the definition and maintenance of key performance indicators (KPI's) and the establishment of a continuous improvement culture.


• Maintain ledger integrity and ensure financial compliance with worldwide controller's manual and to all applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

• 2 -3 General Ledger experience


• Multi-National experience essential


• Italian or French a big Plus


• Experience with Oracle/SAP is essential


• US GAAP & SOX experience


• Strong experience with Month End close, IC, Audit, Payroll and Income Tax


• Proficient with Windows & Microsoft Office


• Punctual, Professional and flexible with a can do attitude


• Excellent communication skills
