Job Specification: Training Consultant

Contract Role / Part Time

Training services to the funds industry.

The Role

The training consultant will deliver training courses to funds firms.

In addition to delivery, the trainer will be responsible for course preparation, planning, assessment & evaluation.

Courses can be anything from 3 hours to 3 days in duration.

Ideal candidate;

Experienced trainer with significant prior operations

Experience gained while working as a;

• Fund Administrator


• Asset manager


• Auditor


• Lawyer or consultant focusing on funds.

Essential experience

5-10 years in hedge funds and/or mutual funds

Operations experience in two or more of the following areas:

• Pricing


• Valuations


• Fund accounting


• Financial reporting


• Auditing


• Trustee


• Compliance


• Legal


• Custody

Essential qualities & skills

• Confident, communicative, creative


• Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail


• Ambitious


• Eager to learn
