full time Big 4 Senior Audit Manager

Role: Our Client, seeks an experienced Senior Audit Manager to join their Cork team. Excellent opportunities for growth for the right candidate.


Responsibilities:

· Responsibility for all aspects of audit planning and implementation including audit approach, audit instructions, budgeting and staffing, fee negotiations, timing, review coordination, close meetings and reporting.


· Coordination with both Accountancy Firm and client locations worldwide for the purposes of successfully meeting year-end group reporting and statutory reporting requirements.


· Compilation/review of audit instruction requirements and group reporting packages to/from international offices, along with preparation or review of consolidated financial statements.


· Development and implementation of testing plans for Sarbanes-Oxley audits; such audit work included detailed documentation, evaluation, testing and reporting on client systems and processes under PCAOB standards.


· Participation in presentations for worldwide audit planning meetings of clients.


· First point of contact for client and partner queries.


· Performance manager for staff with direct responsibility for timesheets/utilisation, continuous and year-end appraisals, mentoring and training.



Skills Required:



  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills essential.

  • Experienced Assistant Manager or Audit Manager from Big 4

  • Highly organised and extremely efficient with the ability to meet tight deadlines

  • People Management experience
