                                               Scandinavian Travel Specialist Required

An experienced Scandinavian Travel Specialist is required for an immediate start in a leading holiday planning company based in the Cork area.

The Role:

• Ensure all personal targets and objectives are achieved through maximizing sales opportunities


• Ensure all calls are promptly and efficiently handled


• Maintain regular contact with Members in an effort to satisfy their holiday requirements


• Identifying key Member holiday ‘motivation factors’ in an effort to find alternatives. Ensuring accurate booking of flights, cars, insurance and all other  products


• Ensuring a top service is delivered to members at all times


• Promoting and maximizing the sale of all products


• Ensuring all the necessary documentation is accurately completed after each call.

Requirements:

• Fluency in one of the Scandic languages required (Swedish, Norwegian or Danish) in addition to a good working knowledge of the others. A high proficiency in English is also required.


• Candidates must have experience in International travel


• Experience of having worked with CRS Systems – Sabre/Galileo/Amadeus


• Excellent communications, interpersonal and organisation skills required


• Strong customer service/sales skills with the ability to influence others


• At least 1 years experience as a Travel Consultant, in a sales/target-driven travel environment using a CRS system


• Knowledge of the travel industry, charter and scheduled flights


• Knowledge of the airline carriers and the destinations served by each


• Previous experience with Windows-based software products a necessity.
