Risk Analytics Manager

Job Description

Due to expansion of the Risk Analytics Team our client are looking for an experienced Risk Analytics Manager with the

Roles/Responsibilities

• Developing Credit/ Risk rating models across retail and commercial businessess
  
• Assist in the development, training and management of junior staff members.
  
• Play a key role in influencing risk strategy across the bank.
  
• Manage projects on business process development

Skills/Experience

• Strong working knowledge of Statistical modelling techniques and statistics in commercial or retail banking
  
• Good knowledge of Basel II framework and requirements
  
• Good understanding of data structures (database systems and datawarehouses ) and data requirements for model development
  
• Good understanding of credit products and business processes.
  
• Expertise in one of the modelling tools (preferably SAS Base and EMiner, but others are also acceptable )
  
• Experience in Irish/UK markets would be an advantage
  

Education / Professional Qualifications

Ideal candidate should also have BSc or higher degree in a quantitative discipline

In addition to core technical ability and experience the successful candidate will have strong communication/inter personal skills and be or have the potential to be a people manager.
